JAN 1 - OCT 28 Uniformed and Overseas Citizens may apply for a General Election absentee ballot.
JAN 1 - JUN 3 Eligible voters may apply for a Primary Election absentee ballot.
JAN 13 - JAN 25 Candidate Filing Period
APR 24 County Clerks to begin mailing absentee ballots to voters who have submitted absentee applications to county clerks
MAY 14 - MAY 20 Sample ballots published in local newspapers throughout the state.
MAY 19 Voter Registration Deadline
MAY 27 – JUN 6 Early Voting at the county courthouse during normal business hours and Saturdays 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
JUN 2 - JUN 8 Official List of Candidates or Sample Ballot published in local newspapers throughout the state (publication dates will vary by county).
JUN 3 Deadline for Absentee by Mail Application.
JUN 8 Deadline to hand-deliver Absentee Ballot to County Clerk’s office.
JUN 9 Deadline to mail Absentee Ballot to county clerk (must be postmarked by this date)
Primary Election Day
JUN 10 Absentee Ballots without postmark accepted.
JUN 15 (Canvass) – Absentee Ballot postmarked by Election Day accepted if received by start of Canvass
AUG 11 Eligible voters may apply for a General Election ballot by mail.
SEP 18 County clerks begin mailing absentee ballots to those who have applied.
OCT 8 - OCT 14 Sample ballots published in local newspapers throughout the state (publication dates will vary by county).
OCT 13 Voter Registration Deadline
OCT 21 - OCT 31 Early Voting at the county courthouse, annex or designated community voting location during normal business hours and Saturdays 9AM to 5PM.
OCT 27 - NOV 2 Official List of Candidates or Sample Ballot published in local newspapers throughout the state (publication dates will vary by county).
OCT 28 Deadline for Absentee by Mail Application. Absentee applications received after October 28, even if postmarked, cannot be accepted by law.
NOV 2 Deadline to hand-deliver Absentee Ballot to County Clerk’s office.
NOV 3 General Election Day: Polls open 6:30 AM to 7: 30 PM and absentee ballots must be postmarked.
NOV 9 (Canvass) - Absentee Ballot postmarked by Election Day accepted if received by start of Canvass.
